Sometimes....
When I am going down the road in my car
I will pick the cell phone up and put it on my ear
AND
Pretend to talk
(sometimes I will even laugh)
Ya know
Just to look cool and stuff.
Oh, and sometimes
When I pull up next to someone and they are staring at me.
I feel awkward.
So, what do I do?
I put the cellphone up to my ear.
AND
Pretend to talk
AND
even let out a giggle
Wanna know something that is NOT COOL....
When the cell phone actually rings
ya know,
When I am pretending to talk
It scares me.

LOL!!!!!!! That's way too funny :D I always fiddle with the stereo knobs when I'm at a stop light and don't want to feel awkward...maybe I'll do this next time instead!!!

Lol! In California it is illegal to use cell phones in the car unless you have a hands free device. My van has the whole blue tooth thing, so it when my phone rings it comes over the speakers in my car for all to hear. So if anyone pulled up next to me it really just looks like I am talking to myself... which I may or may not do occasionally.
I did that one time when I was young and cool and the ONLY one in my group of friends to have a cell phone.
I was at a red light. With the window down. "pretend" chatting on my cell phone to impress the guy in the car next to me. And then my cell phone rang.
D'oh!! I looked like such an idiot and he just laughed!
