The dude with robot legs

Big girl rushed in the door the other day and told me that there was a man with robot legs running down the road.

I was all "HUH"?
"Yes" she said, "He has shiny silver robot legs."
AND
"He is VERY VERY tall."
Me: "How tall?"
Taller than daddy, tall ?
Big girl: "No, TALLER."
Me: Taller than a basketball player, tall?
Big girl: "Yep, about that tall."
Me: "So, he was running?"
Show me how he was running.
(Because uh....you know....just by seeing how someone is running I can determine if they are a terminator coming to destroy the world or just a dude with prosthetic legs chasing after a dog.)

She shows me how he was running.
Yep, just as I thought.....
It's just a dude with a couple of fake legs.
No need to worry.
However, I am still intrigued by the height issue.
Maybe he just wanted to be taller?
or
Maybe they had a discount on REALLY tall prosthetic legs?

Of course not!
I had to run to the store later that evening and as I was coming up to the stop sign I saw THE DUDE.
Yep, shiny legs and all.
ONLY they were not legs......
Dude was on stilts.

YES, he was tall.
but
NO, he was not a robot coming to take over the world.
I slept a little better that night.
